Spurs Marine was founded in 1981 and is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. It is a company that specialises in cutters to protect boats from entanglement in nets, ropes and lines, thus avoiding damage to shafts and seals. This has led to it becoming the world leader in net and line systems.

Spurs systems have been installed in more than 100,000 vessels worldwide. Outstanding among those are the systems installed in the USCG, US Navy, Canadian CG, RNLI, pilot boats, commercial boats and pleasure boats.

The products are currently marketed through distributors with stock available in more than 40 countries around the world.
